About Me

Welcome to my educational portfolio! My name is Beth Roberson, and I am an aspiring elementary educator with a passion for creating positive and engaging learning environments for young students.  I am currently pursuing my degree in education, where I have gained experience in lesson planning, classroom management, and student-centered instruction.

Through my field experiences, I have observed and interacted with students from kindergarten through fifth grade, which has strengthened my desire to teach at the elementary level. I am especially passionate about building strong relationships with students creating a classroom where every child feels supported, valued, and encouraged to succeed.

 I believe that all students can learn when given the right support, structure, and encouragement. My goal as an educator is to foster both academic growth and social-emotional development while creating a safe and welcoming classroom environment.    

My Passion for Education

For over two decades, I've had the privilege of working as a paraprofessional, with a significant focus on special education (SPED). My passion lies in providing unwavering support, guidance, and nurturing care to students, empowering them to thrive academically and personally. I strive to create a positive and inclusive learning environment where every student feels valued and supported.

Proud Accomplishments

One of my proudest moments was being invited by a former student, now a senior, to witness his college signing for football. Knowing that I had made a lasting impact on his life from pre-K through 5th grade was incredibly rewarding. Additionally, receiving the "Good as Gold" award from my current employer was an unexpected and cherished recognition of my dedication and contributions.

Easygoing and Understanding

I pride myself on being an easygoing and understanding colleague. As my supervisor has often noted, I am approachable, supportive, and dedicated to fostering positive working relationships. My goal is to contribute to a collaborative and harmonious environment where everyone can succeed.
